Kettlebell Coffee Roasters is passionate about extracting the absolute best flavor
from carefully sourced green coffee beans from around the equator. We use the
industry’s finest drum roaster to develop and modulate each bean. Every hand-
crafted small batch roast is designed to provide the optimal flavor profile from the
bean and its origin.

Hand crafted, small batch, artisan, drum roasted is how we do our coffee. We roast only the finest 100% specialty grade beans in small batches to order. We source organic and fairtrade beans from around the equator from South America, Central America, Africa, Indonesia, Asia, Oceana and Arabia.
Those who are passionate about single origin coffee often compare it to fine wine because of its complexity. KCR uses innovative techniques to enhance the taste and sensory experience of their roasts.
We share the desire and passion to continually improve our product by using the finest ingredients, old and new techniques, and leading industry equipment. This is not your Grand Daddy’s coffee!

About the Roaster
Obsessed with coffee, my focus is the origin and process of roasting coffee. After reading numerous books of thought leaders in the industry, I attended The Specialty Coffee Expo meeting, an international meeting of producers and industry from around the world. Later trained at The Buckman Coffee Factory in Portland OR, a unique shared space roasting facility that operates as an incubator for coffee education, training and business. My continued education took me to the Big Island of Hawaii to train at Monarch Coffee Farm where world famous Kona coffee is farmed to cup. Instructors Mark Michaelson and Jodi Weiser mentored roasting principles, profiles, roasting software, cupping and sourcing. Mark, the former Head Roaster of Onyx Coffee and US Roasting Champion, is currently serving as the Head of Education at The San Franciscan Roaster Company. Mark has earned the titles of US and World Roaster of the Year. Jodi Wieser is among the best coffee evaluators in the world. Over the years, her expertise has led to many judging roles for Good Food Awards and Coffee of the Year. She served as vice chair of the SCA Tasters Pathway Committee during the merger of the SCAA and SCAE curricula. She has contributed significantly to coffee communities around the world and is a Certified Q Arabica Grader and Instructor.
